This is a used part that has been tested and is functioning. As a pre-owned component it is sold as-is, but it powered on and worked correctly during testing.
The AMD Ryzen 5 5600X is a 6-core, 12-thread Zen 3 processor with up to 4.6GHz boost — one of the most popular AM4 gaming CPUs ever made, and a drop-in upgrade for B450/B550/X570 boards. Pulled from a working system, tested and sold as shown — a straightforward way to upgrade or repair a AMD Socket AM4 PC without paying new-CPU pricing.

Zen 3's unified 8-core-complex design gave the 5600X a big gaming-performance jump over earlier Ryzen generations despite its modest 65W TDP. It remains a genuinely strong 1080p/1440p gaming CPU and runs on B450, X470, B550 and X570 motherboards (older 300-series boards need a BIOS update that supports Ryzen 5000). No integrated graphics — requires a discrete graphics card (or a separate GPU) to display video. CPU only (no cooler unless shown in the photos). Check your motherboard's CPU support list and BIOS version before installing.
AM4 boards with 500-series chipsets (B550, X570) work out of the box; B450 and X470 boards work after a BIOS update that adds Ryzen 5000 support. It does not fit Intel or AM5 sockets.
No cooler is included unless one appears in the product photos — plan on a compatible CPU cooler and thermal paste.
