How does SELLIT9 Trade save me money?
SELLIT9 Trade unlocks the value in your used electronics. Here’s how it works:
- You get an instant quote on the value of your devices
- We collect and inspect your devices
- We send you a discount code, linked to your email and the store where you started your trade-in
- You use your discount code to shop and save!
Where and when do I use my SELLIT9 Trade discount code? Does it expire?
SELLIT9 lets you trade in devices for discounts at participating stores. Your code never expires and stays tied to the store and to your email address.
What if my trade-in item is worth more than my planned purchase?
As of today, your discount code is a one-time use discount code. It is important to ensure that the value of your trade-in does not surpass the value of your intended purchase.
How do you collect my device? How long does inspection take?
You have two options:
- mail in your device with a free, trackable shipping label
- if you’re in the GTA, we can send someone to your door to pick up the device
Either way, you’ll be able to track your device at every step. Once a device arrives at our inspection facility we aim to finalize your trade-in value within 2 business days.
How do you assess the value of my device? What if there’s a problem?
At SELLIT9, we strive for transparency and fairness in every transaction. The price you get at check-out is based on device condition and the current market value for pre-owned devices.
Every device gets inspected by an electronics expert. If they reassess its condition and price, we’ll explain why and offer a new price. If you don’t like the adjusted price, we’ll return your device for free.
What devices can I trade? Why don’t I see my device?
The devices we currently accept are listed in the check-out process. We’re constantly updating the items we accept, check back soon if you don’t see your device.
We only accept devices in re-sellable condition, with parts from the original manufacturer, and no carrier locks or blacklists.
Are there fees for using SELLIT9?
SELLIT9 won’t charge you any fees - you keep the full value of your device. We cover the cost of collecting and assessing your electronics.
What happens if I request a refund from the merchant?
You go through the normal store refund process for your new purchase. SELLIT9 and the merchant coordinate to make sure that you still get the full value of your trade-in electronics.
I don’t live in the Canada, can I still use SELLIT9?
SELLIT9 is currently only available in the Canada. Stay tuned for US expansion!
